Keep Your Heart Deliciously Empty.

I’ve been stunned lately by how much light there is and how long the days are lately! I know this of course, but walking around my neighborhood in the evenings, I’ve been struck by how long and languid these summer days feel.
And we’re not even at the peak yet! We still have a few more days until the summer solstice, the longest day of the year!
This is a busy time of year with so much fun and so many opportunities and activities, but here’s a special secret–find some space to laze around and even daydream.
The heart in Chinese Medicine is meant to be empty. Empty so that we can be filled with joy. Empty so that we have space to grieve. Empty so that we have spaciousness in general to be with whatever we encounter.
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, overheated or compressed, consider booking an acupuncture session. I would love to help you nestle back into the space of your heart.
Not sure if acupuncture is right for you? I offer free consults by phone so that you can ask questions and I can tell you what to expect. I will also let you know if I think I’m not the best fit. I have a wide network of referral options if I’m not quite what you’re looking for.
(No worries if you're not sure, let's connect!)
